K4D Research Helpdesk

The K4D Research Helpdesk provides quick access to evidence and analysis on development policy and programme questions through rapid response or more substantive emerging issues reports.

Reports review available evidence, experience and emerging practice, provide syntheses of findings from literature and global experts, and include annotated bibliographies and literature reviews.

A standard rapid response report involves six days of a researcher’s time and is usually delivered within a few weeks from commission. Emerging Issues Reports typically explore more complex development issues with less literature in the public realm. The service includes at least double the research time, along with thematic lead days and design and communications resource.

If you are FCDO staff, you can request a Helpdesk Report by emailing [email protected].

All published K4D Helpdesk Reports are available on K4D’s website.

A full list of K4D Emerging Issues Reports can be found here.
