By integrating nutrition-specific interventions into three programmes that provided livelihood support to extremely poor households in Bangladesh, the Department for International Development (DFID) Bangladesh aimed to accelerate improvements in nutrition outcomes for young children, pregnant and lactating mothers, and adolescent girls. The project was entitled ‘The DFID Programme to Accelerate Improved Nutrition for the Extreme Poor in Bangladesh’.
In order to assess the impacts of the integration of nutrition-specific interventions into the livelihoods programmes, DFID commissioned this mixed-method impact evaluation, entitled ‘Impact Evaluation of the DFID Programme to Accelerate Improved Nutrition for the Extreme Poor in Bangladesh’ through the Maximising the Quality of Scaling up Nutrition (MQSUN) programme framework. This is the Final Report of this assessment.
