Project

Building a global digital repository of developing country research

The British Library for Development Studies (BLDS) is setting up an open access repository to house the full texts of publications produced by research organisations in developing countries. The objective is to increase the profile and accessibility of Southern published research by digitising research materials currently only available in print format, and ensuring they are easily searchable online. The initial focus is on material held in BLDS published by African and Asian research institutes.
