“Studies of HIV in African Communities” Highlights is a briefing series co-produced by the Alpha Network and IDS Knowledge Services. It draws lessons and synthesises key findings and recommendations from the research undertaken in the Alpha Network study sites across Eastern and Southern Africa in a way that is easily accessible to those making policy or practise decisions.
Issues covered so far:
- Fertility in African communities affected by HIV (PDF)
- Born, lived and died – but counter or not? (PDF) – this particular brief was co-produced by the Alpha Network, IDS Knowledge Services and INDEPTH.
The Studies of HIV in African Communities series is aimed at policymakers and practitioners in the countries where the Alpha Network has a presence and worldwide. It is freely available from IDS and the Alpha Network, and can be accessed on Eldis, a development research portal managed by IDS Knowledge Services.
